Communications In A Modern World Are Amazing

By Bruce Jopples

Just like an episode from a movie in the seventies, the crew member pulls out a flip phone and opens it, requesting to be transported into another time and place. Those around are left looking as if nothing has happened, even though their privacy was just violated. Communications in a modern world are amazing.

Events happening on the other side of this world are now being seen in front and center. Wars, people starving, bombings and shootings, are all recorded and uploaded to websites once concerned local gossip columns. Even young children can upload pictures taken from digital cameras, computers, and phones.

There are no more secrets. What used to be heard for the first time in the evening news is now old hat. The replays, fast forwards, and automatic recording of life information has made it necessary to set new boundaries on what is considered illegal exposure.

Not only is information exploding but the individual morality has taken a back seat. Closed doors used to stop some communications from being broadcast. Now, there are peepholes everywhere. An innocent slip of the tongue is now grounds for the next lawsuit. Check to see who is watching today.

New ways of communication are being invented every day. The waves are all around and are tapped into with simply the push of a button. Images are transported from devise to devise at the speed of light, and continue to exist long after they have been deleted.

The lives of people are being broadcast, just like movies, television episodes, and books. Personal information is being sold all over the world. In fact, it may be viewed at this very moment.

Personal information is not only available illegally, but legally. Job seekers need to check what they have posted on their social networking sites. Curious employers may be looking to see what kind of people they are when they are supposedly private.

Taking precautions with communications will keep the identity safe and the public persona clean. Where there is no immorality, there is no worry. Check integrity today. Do not wait until it is in question.

Increased freedom requires increased responsibility. The actions of today may be in the evening news, no matter where and when they happen. Yes, communications in a modern world are amazingly wonderful when used responsibly.
