Dave had received a Garmin nuvi 1490lmt GPS from his girlfriend for Xmas as she was bored with him returning home so late when he got stuck on the road in traffic. It had already made a huge difference to them, now Dave had a traffic alert on his route and an alternative route supplied so he wasn't late home.

More functions on his Garmin GPS were similarly useful to Daves commute, like the weather alerts and the eco route feature so he could choose a route that would save on gas. Dave was excited also to find that Garmin gave free lifetime traffic and map updates. This meant that regardless of how many changes they made to the road system or to the road intersections the info on the Garmin GPS would never be outdated.

This was superb Dave thought. He had already benefited so much from his new GPS, because of the huge 5 inch screen and clear graphics it was straightforward to navigate through the highway intersections. Even the most complex and busy intersections were no longer a difficulty because approaching lane changes were shown together with overhead road signage so that he never missed an exit.

He could schedule his travel much better now and be confident when he made business meetings that he would be there punctually. Dave was so impressed by his GPS that he took it on vacation with him when they went skiing in Canada and then it was simply irreplaceable he leased a vehicle and was able to find his way to every destination with no Problems in any way.

The Garmin has a travel clock. A currency converter and a measurement converter it proved to be the ideal travel companion. When they felt like walking round they exploited the Garmin GPS and just chose the pedestrian option - merely a tap on the screen and they could see their precise location, address and crossing as well as the closest police station surgery and emergency services if they required them.
